Ramona Woman's Club

 

 

​The Ramona Woman’s Club' contributes to the Ramona community by awarding annual scholarships to two graduates of a Ramona (CA) High School.

​

We award two $1,000 scholarships annually.

​

                                       *Mary Joyce White Traditional College Scholarship

                                     *Ellie Whitcomb Vocational Educational Scholarship

 

Mary White founded the Scholarship Fund by donating one thousand dollars. That fund and the newly established Ellie Whitcomb Scholarship provides grants for two  students.   The Ellie Whitcomb Scholarship is specifically for a student seeking vocational training.  Applicants may apply for only one of the above opportunities.

To be eligible the applicant must have attended a Ramona, CA, High School for at least two full school years.           

A minimum "C" Overall GPA is required to apply.

​

The deadline to submit applications is March 21, 2024.  Applications postmarked after this date will NOT be considered. Final results will be communicated directly to individual participants by the beginning June.

Submit only our application and please adhere to our request for an essay of NO MORE THAN 500 WORDS.

Your application will be disqualified from consideration if this request is not followed.

We suggest that applicants start this process early and coordinate all references for a complete and timely submission. Incomplete application packages will not be considered.
